💡 At Home
Here are a few ways you can support your child's learning at home this week:
Read:
Students are encouraged to read for 20–30 minutes each night. Reading can include novels, graphic novels, nonfiction books, or magazines. Reading time can also be a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to read with or to their child. Taking turns reading, listening to your child read, or sharing a book together all count!
Practice:
Students are encouraged to continue practicing their basic math facts. Quick recall of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts helps students solve more complex math problems with confidence and efficiency.
Talk about: What you are excited for next week? Who is your grade 2 buddy? What did you like about this week? What was hard this week? Ask about the novel (Fatty Legs) that we are reading. What does it look like to be welcoming?
Thank you for your continued support! We are looking forward to another great week of learning together. 💛
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Boldt
